Memo16 is a project driven by blockchain technology, NFTs, and the centuries-old idea of collecting. It introduces a new philosophy to NFT projects that elevates the concept of collecting to new heights. The uniqueness of Memo16 lies in the fact that each NFT is intrinsically linked to a specific event in time, with the date and time of the event and the creation of the NFT always connected through an immutable smart contract on the blockchain. The impossibility of replicating this makes Memo16 NFTs exceptionally scarce, with each one representing an irreplaceable moment in time. The primary goal of the project is to enable individuals to legitimately own NFTs that are tied to significant events, with time being their most valuable asset. Time, which is irreplaceable and scarce, is added to the value of the NFTs.
Memo16 releases NFTs on the same day and time as significant events, and they are issued on the blockchain. These NFTs commemorate essential sporting events, club and national team victories, tournaments, leagues, and other crucial events. It provides sports fans and athletes with an additional way of celebrating victories and demonstrating their respect for the events. Memo16 also releases NFTs to immortalize the memory of prominent individuals who made a significant impact on our world on the day they passed.

Memo16 is essentially a digital stamp or token that honors the event for which it was issued. Each Memo16 event is limited to sixteen NFTs or tokens issued on the blockchain on the same day as the event, in the time zone where it occurred. At least eight of these tokens are intended to be distributed free solely to individuals who have a direct relationship or connection with the event, such as athletes, coaches, club officials, significant fans, etc. For example, an NFT for Serie A 2023 may be given to players, coaches, SC Napoli club officials, significant fans, and other people related to the event. Memo16 aims to make these tokens highly valuable to the people who receive them, and therefore, it carefully selects recipients to ensure the tokens serve a real purpose. Over time, Memo16 NFTs are expected to appreciate in value, like other forms of art. At least eight out of the sixteen NFTs in each Memo16 collection will always be available for free and will never be sold by us for profit. The proceeds from the remaining eight NFTs will be used to fund the development of the Memo16 project.
